1. Today is the day my post is up on Romancing the Blog. I had done a "guest appearance" (or would that be a "guest post"?) this summer and since that time, they have invited me to be a regular columnist on their blog.

This means I will post on their site about once every month or so. It is a general market site whose columnists are romance writers and readers of EVERYTHING from inspirational to romantica. So, be warned, anything and everything is discussed there. It is not for the faint of heart. And today is my first post as an official columnist.

2. I am working from a remote location today (I'm not in my office). Which means I have dial-up access as opposed to high-speed access. This complicates the uploading of pictures just a wee bit.

So, if you don't mind, I'm gonna send you over to Romancing the Blog today and we'll do the picture thing tomorrow. Okay? (For those of you who don't know what pictures I'm talking about, read yesterday's post.)

Barb said...: Yes, we will kill you!! We've waited days for gown pictures! But, since murder's not possible on a blog, fine--we'll cope. You better give us a day of What's Wonderful About My Husband sometime soon--looks like at least one of the respondents on Romancing the Blog is feeling violent about Mr Greg's lack of enthusiasm over your writing. Plus he hasn't made the best impression on yours to date either (no offense, Mr Greg!) Hey--what about the winner of the contest???

Then, on Wednesday, we'll do the contest winner and on Thursday we'll talk about my Mr. Wonderful. Because, he is, you know. The best ever.
Susan said...: Oh I know all about the dial-up and how slow it can be. Our area doesn't offer high-speed connection unless it's via satellite. I just can't justify getting satellite due to its high cost and because I don't care to spend time in front of a computer while at home. Looking forward to seeing the pictures! Also, when's the next book signing in your area? I have promised daughter a trip up to Houston for an autographed book.
Deeanne said...: Susan, If you go to the "Meet Dee" tab on my website, you will see a listing of my schedule. The signing in Humble on Nov. 5th is probably the most practical because it is in a book store. The one on Nov. 12th is at a writer's meeting, but it will be open to the public.
Barb said...: Now don't overreact and embellish falsely. I'm sure Mr Greg is very nice under that non-literary exterior, but MY husband is the "best ever!"
