My Other Daughter

Our oldest daughter has a childhood school chum that has been more or less a fixture in our house for over ten years. We call her our "other daughter." She ended up going to a college way up there where they have ice and snow. So, this Christmas was the first time we got to see her since she's been gone. She had many adventures to tell us, the most entertaining being when she passed out while getting her ear pierced. Ha!

Here's a picture of the two. You probably don't realize it, but our "other daughter" is the one who plays Constance in our film trailer. She normally has really curly hair, but will sometimes straighten it. It was WONDERFUL to have her home.

Somehow that Gist girl looks a LOT like a well-known author I've seen before. Hmmm?!?!
We have an adopted daughter and son. In fact, we joke that our adopted daughter is our oldest and most interesting daughter! Very fun, to be able to share our home and lives that comfortably with them. Looks like your extra girl is a great one to have around too! :o)
