Our daughter had an assignment in her art class to make collages of well-known stories. So she did one true story and one make believe. Can you guess what they are?
I enjoy doing collages once in a while. A couple of years ago, I did one for a story I was writing. Sounds funny, but it really stirred up ideas for the story.
My son made a great one about "driving distractions" for driver's ed that included pix and captions from mags and newspapers, but also 3-D stuff like a Scooby Doo air freshener and a monkey stir stick and a cigarette (he got from an adult friend). It was high art to me!
LOL on your little disclaimer, Barb. (got smokes from adult friend). Sounds like a really neat collage. Better make sure that cigarette doesn't mysteriously disappear! ;-)
Meg, Was it a collage of a novel-length manuscript, short story, what?
