Sunday, July 09, 2006Glory Be To God It's 1:30 in the morning and I have to be up by 7:00am. I just wanted to let you know that Bride was awarded the Christy for Best Romance of the Year. I'll give you all the details next week, but for now, here she is. Glory be to God.

Big giant congrats to you (and to Dave) for the Christy honor. Bride is the only romance novel I've read in years (maybe ever) and I thought it was fabulous. So I'm not at all surprised and simply thrilled for you. Enjoy!

Hi, everyone. Just in from a long (but very fun) day. I'm up again first thing in the morning, but just had to log on before I went to bed.
Thank you so, so much for all your sweet comments. And y'all are right on all counts. I'm excited and amazed and humbled and I don't know what all. Dave is getting lots of attention and is so cute when he gets all shy.
I'll try and check in tomorrow night if I can. Greg got in town today and it is sooooo great to have him here with me now. He met all the Bethany House folks tonight at dinner. It was really special.
