I heard knocking in the walls last night and thought we had some kind of creature. I even dragged my husband into the room to try to figure out what could have gotten into the walls that would be that big. But it was fireworks popping off in the distance...
Wow, ya even do poetry! Glad you didn't lose your partners due to murder at least, like in Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None! :o0 There must be some writers of quality in your Texan metropolis that you could find to work with???

There are lots of talented writers out here, but this group was something special. I will really, really miss them.
And, the poetry wasn't mine, I'm afraid. That was taken from "Six Brave Explores" by Moerbeek and Dijs. It's one of my favorite pop-up books.
LOL on your "things that go bump in the night." It's been raining for 3 days solid here. I hope it clears up tomorrow!

Hmm. Maybe God dispersed y'all so that your writing talent would get shared with more writer peoples? I'm sure He's got somethin' good up His sleeve for ya!

Rain for 3 solid days? Try 7/10 days straight when I was delivering newspapers from 3-6am every morning. Guess God thought I needed an early morning shower. :) SO glad that job is over.
