Sandy's at 70%!!!! Tomorrow is the last day for this week's round, then assuming she wins (she's been ahead every day so far) they move her to the top winner spot (where the other lady is now) and they put a new person up against Sandy. If she wins against 5 women, then she goes into the Hall of Fame (which no one has done yet, according to that page on the website). That's the scoop as I know it, anyway.

Boo hoo, it was not to be. We realized late in the contest--because the instructions were not posted anywhere--that you could only vote once during the day, but at night you could vote as much as you wanted. So she was up at 80% yesterday afternoon, but when evening hit the competition flooded the system somehow, and altho some of us voted for 3 hours straight, Sandy's numbers plunged. Boo hoo and boo hoo some more! It's nice to know she was so loved by regular 1-vote readers tho--she was always ahead during the day. And the magazine called her on Monday and said she will be in the print edition of Redbook in October, along with a couple of others they chose from 1000 entries, so that's exciting! Nice to have a cheerleader like Miz Dee too!

Well, shoot. No worries, though. I still plan to get a lot of mileage out of this Hot Mama stuff. So, if she think's she's off the hook ... no way! ;-)
