Oh, I just clicked on the "turkey song". Too funny! Hope your day was great.
It's been a lovely weekend up here in Michigan--mild temps for this time of year. Bee-u-tee-ful! Best enjoy it while we can.
I did a bunch of shopping this weekend. One thing I bought was a big box of chocolate covered cherries. Thought I'd give it to my son-in-law along with a gift card to his favorite hunting store. Well, after church today hubby and I went to a funeral home and were gone for about five hours. When we got back, we found the empty box of candy on the floor along with 'pieces' of the carton strewn all about the house, upstairs and down. No sign of the candy, though. Dakota, my collie, discovered the box in the closet--inside a plastic bag--and helped himself. I was shocked because he never does anything naughty! He's almost eight-years-old and very lazy most of the time.
Now I'm waiting to see what the "results" will be of his having downed TWO-DOZEN CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES! I can barely eat two at one sitting. What must his stomach feel like???? I figure he probably ate them about 8 or 9 hours ago. So far so good.
(tee-hee)
Blessings,
Shar

Oh, goodness, Shar. Is your puppy okay? I've heard that dogs absolutely love chocolate, but that it is supposedly toxic to them. But mine have been known to sneak some and survive it. Hope everything is okay!

I know. I've heard the same about chocolate...that it's toxic to dogs. He ate an entire pound and a half of chocolate one time when I was at work, and when I got home there was "you-know-what" all over the entire house. (Your worst nightmare!)
I didn't even call the vet this time because my dog weighs 100# and I figured his body could handle it. What's weird is he had no ill effects. I took him for a long walk before I went to bed--hoping, well, you know...ha-ha. Everything came out fine--no pun intended!
And now I'm going to look at today's post. I see you put up a bunch of pictures! Yea!
Blessings,
Shar

Oh, I'm so glad!
100 pounds?!! My goodness! I didn't know collies got that big! One of our border collies is 60 pounds and we tease him about it all the time. ;-)
