Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
In honor of today's holiday, I thought I would send you to a sight where you can read some of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s sermons. They are amazing. Have a great holiday and stay warm.

I heard on the radio yesterday that New Jersey schools will no longer explain the history behind such national holidays as Thanksgiving and Memorial Day and others. I think that's so awful--these are our roots, the meaning behind our today!

Oh, my goodness, Barb. That's *terrible*. I cannot imagine why they would make such a decision.
Sarah, my kids were hoping for the same (expect in the form of ice storm instead of snow--we don't get snow). But the storm is taking longer to get here than expected, so the ice is supposed to hit this evening. What about you? Did you get your snow day?

We watched the MLK special on PBS last night and it was fabulous.
