Girlfriends Weekend

 It's not too late to sign up for Girlfriends' Weekend if you want to join me! It is an annual get-together of a nationwide bookclub called Pulpwood Queens. Every January they meet in Jefferson, Texas for a big party. Lots of authors will be coming and mingling with readers.

The Girlfriend's weekend looks like a blast! A whole bunch of our friends just had an elegant New Year's Eve party and it was a blast dressing up for it. I love getting all dolled up! :)

Just RAN to Barnes and Noble to buy Beguiled!!!! Heading on a cross country plane trip in two days and plan to read it then....that is if my 3 kiddos will allow it!

Daisy was actually the name of my best friend's yellow Pinto in high school. I'd have made the car a Pinto, but they don't have those anymore. Anyhoo, I can't wait until she reads the book and sees that! :)
