I voted for Deep In The Heart of Trouble. First, it's a wonderful story! Second, I love the smile on the girl's face. I can just see the teasing and a hint of tention just by the cover. Keep writing these great books. Everyone one just seems to get better and better.

There were so many good looking covers it was hard to choose! But I've always liked the girl on Deep in the Heart of Trouble.....makes you wonder what she's riding that bike to get away from. :-) And I read the excerpt from Beguiled and it sounds so good!! Can't wait for it to come out. (or maybe I'll be lucky and win a copy!) Love your books. :-)

I have always loved Deep in the Heart of Trouble but there is something I just love about A Bride in the Bargain. So I chose A Bride in the Bargain. :)

I'm so excited about your new book the excerpt sounds great. I'm still contemplating which cover is my favorite. I loved the Essie series and and I thought the cover of her on the velocipede was priceless, it fit her personality perfectly. Yet I also loved the more realistic picture of Anna in "A Bride in the Bargain". I'll have to think a little harder on the matter, before I make my decision, its such a shame that they can't both tie for first.

I think they are both great but A Bride in the Bargain just has an interesting way she is sitting; just catches my eye.

I voted for Deep In The Heart of Trouble. I just absolutely love the bike and the detail of the dress. (A side reason is that I absolutely love that novel and think it just perfectly completed the Trouble books.) Good luck! :) P.S. I'm still holding out and hoping for an ARC. I would feel so blessed to have an advance copy of one of your books! :)

Such a hard choice! I voted for A Bride in the Bargain though. I just loved the story so much. I know it says we aren't supposed to vote based on story but both covers are so pretty, and I have only read Bride in the Bargain out of the two. ;)

I voted for Deep in the Heart of Trouble. The playfulness and unconventional flair of riding a bicycle in a wedding dress is what got me :)

Selecting a cover is as challenging as selecting my favorite book... Impossible! I only did it because of your request. I chose Deep in the Heart of Trouble only because the smile and turned head enhanced my curiosity. When you release a new book, I rush to purchase it; read it throughout the day and evening; read it again; ponder; and then, get ready to wait until your next release. Thank you for sharing your gift of writing with your readers. God bless you and yours. Jer.33:3

Very hard to choose but A Bride in the Bargain draws me a little more. I think maybe it's the color dress or the way she's sitting.

Both of the covers are beautiful...I voted for 'a bride in the bargain.' How wonderful that your daughter is the model for this cover.

I voted for "Deep in the Heart of Trouble," because of the contrasts of the traditional (bridal gown) and the non-traditional (woman on a bike). That alone would make me want to know what the book was about (if I didn't already). :)

I like them both, but I especially like the cover for Deep in the Heart of Trouble.

I voted for A Bride in the Bargain. I think that's my favorite book of yours:) I love the way she's leaning on an ax; and in a wedding dress, too! Can't wait for your other books to come out! Hope I win a copy;)

I voted for Deep in the Heart of Trouble. I love the look on her face and Essie because she rides her bike whenever and wherever she wants.

This is a tough choice...both are great covers. Yet, although A Bride in the Bargain was my favorite of the two stories, I have to say that the cover from Deep in the Heart of Trouble was the better of the two. The cover perfectly fits Essie's spunky spirit, determination, and unconventional ways for a woman of her time! :) Keep those wonderful stories coming! I'm so looking forward to reading Beguiled and Maid to Match very soon!:)

I have to say, I love both of these covers, too. And even though the model of BARGAIN is my daughter, the model on DEEP is the receptionist at Bethany House (my publisher). I wish you could see her whole face. She is just the cutest thing ever. So bubbly and sweet--but you can tell that by the cover, can't you! Anyways, keep those votes coming. And thanks for participating! :)

You truly wish for me to make a decision between the two covers!?! Am I the only one who finds this a most impossible thing to do ...? I do wish for you to win an award, however, so I made a decision, albeit a most difficult one ... And my choice is: A Bride in the Bargain! Even despite the fact that the lovely model is your beautiful daughter, the over-all cover is amazing and award-worthy! Best wishes!

I received my ARC of BEGUILED. I can't wait to read it. Thanks again! I voted for A BRIDE IN THE BARGAIN. Watching the trailer for how the cover was made and seeing your daughter being interviewed made it more personal.

Your covers are always the best (sometimes the covers on christian fiction are just horrible!). I am not sure which I prefer, but I will definitely vote for one! I am looking forward to reading your new one. Be sure to let us know when it hits the shelves.

I have only read A Bride in the Bargain and A Bride Most Begrudging. I loved them both. And from the minute I saw the cover on "Bargain" I loved the girl & the dress. Then I read it was your daughter....made it even more special & personal to have her on it instead of just a model. A friend loaned me her copy of "Bargain" and after reading it I had to find more of your books. I have now printed off the shopping list so I can buy them all! Naturally, my vote is for the cover of "Bargain".
